Harvest

We were joined by Mr Nulty for our worship where he told us all about Kirkham Food Bank. He explained that during Harvest time we work together to give food to people that are less fortunate. Year 1 finished the worship by singing a Harvest song to the rest of the school.

Year 5 Class Worship for the Bishop's Harvest Appeal 2018

Year 5 taught all of our school community about the Bishop's Harvest appeal and where the money raised is going to and who it will help.

ELECTION TIME!

At the start of the school year we have all held democratic elections in our classes to see who we would have as our School Council Reps.  All the candidates read out speeches and then everyone had a secret vote - just like in the real elections at the Houses of Parliament.

In our classroom worship this week we looked at a story from the Buddhist religion about courage and acted out scenes using freeze frame.
