Robin Hood

We were treated to a special performance of ‘Robin Hood’ in our Church from Year 5 and Year 4.  Proving that good can triumph over evil and sending out the message ‘Don’t fight, unite!’

Well done to all the children involved it was great entertainment.

Robin Hood 'On Tour'

Year 5 and Robin Hood ‘On Tour’ entertaining the elderly people in our Community.

Year 5 enjoyed taking their Christmas production to the residents of Millbanke Care Home this week.  They also enjoyed talking to the residents there and telling them all about their Christmas wishes

Comparing the life cycle of bulbs and seeds in Science:

Year 5 are working scientifically to observe the similarities and difference between plants that grow from a bulb or a seed as part of our life cycles topic.  We began by having a close look at bulbs and seeds and then planted some to observe their growth.

Year 5 are Evacuees and Soldiers in WW2

Living out the Gospel Values of ‘Respect’ and ‘Generosity’

Year 5 have spent time finding out about the Royal British Legion and wanted to raise money for the Poppy Appeal because they believe it is important to support this charity by being generous and show respect to the soldiers past and present.

Year 5 had the chance to improve their shape skills when completing a Bob the Builder architect challenge in Maths Week with teachers from Carr Hill.
