Activities

Musically there are a number of opportuniies for children to enjoy and express themselves, including a school choir, tuition in woodwind, brass, percussion, keyboard, guitar and hand-chimes.

There are a variety of sporting activities, practices and matches in football, netball, street dance, tag rugby, bowling, squash, athletics, short tennis, cricket and badminton, some of which take place in school time and others in the form of a club after school. At the moment we have variuos clubs after school which run throughout the year. Junior children in years 4, 5 and 6 have weekly swimming lessons at the local pool. There  is an annual sports day enjoyed by infants and juniors to which the parents are invited.

All children take part in a class assembly each term and many children take an active part in services held in church throughout the year - Harvest Festival, Nativity, Easter and end of year Leavers' Service. On certain occasions children may be involved in productions involving music and drama - the aim being to involve as many children as poossible in experiences, which should  enrich their lives.

At certain times of the year children are selected to represent the school at local inter-school events including athletics, football, swimming, netball, cricketand rounders.

Clubs!

Our clubs are very sporty, we take part in just about everything! If nobody can pick you up after school you can go to after school club in the hall in the main building. Some of our teachers run their own after school club on different days, they use a lot of their time to make us happy and most of the time they are great fun! Some of our other clubs include: cross stitch, eco club, netball, football and many more!!
